featuring:

Ann grew up in
Costa Rica, received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance
from Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, and pursued her Masters degree at
the University of Victoria, studying with Dr. Robin Wood. Passionately
involved in both teaching piano and performing for over twenty five
years, she is the president of the Cowichan Valley Music Teachers
Association and has spearheaded many community music projects.
Her teaching
studio is always full of talented and thriving students, from the
youngest beginners, to seniors. She said recently, "My philosophy
is that students have the most fun with music when they are putting
their utmost into it. Love of music and joy in accomplishment are my
goals for my students". To that end she has arranged a variety of
music for students who want to experience the fun of playing together
at the piano.
Many other
teachers have requested copies of these arrangements- most are being
made available now through Demand Music.
